Word Study: Faith

One of my devotions that I read the other gave a word study, the word that was given is "Faith". You are to go through the Bible and see what it says about faith. Here is what I found in my faith study.

Faith is:

-Confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see (Hebrews 11:1)

-Universe was formed at God's command (Hebrews 11:3)

-Without it, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6)

-Justification (Galatians 2:16)

-Believe and nothing is impossible (Matthew 17:20)

-Produces perseverance (James 1:3)

-Without works, is dead (James 2:17-18)

-Examples of faith: Abel and Noah (Hebrews 11:4,7)
